What are the responsibilities and job description for the Homebound Tutor (Flexible Schedule) INTERNAL ONLY position at Bettendorf Community School District?
Bettendorf Middle School is seeking a certified teacher to provide Homebound Tutoring support for a middle school student. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting student learning outside the traditional classroom environment.
Rate of Pay: $29.12/hour
Hours: Up to 5 hours per week (schedule determined by student’s stamina and health)
Required Qualifications:
Valid teaching license or certification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to plan and deliver instruction aligned with the student’s grade level and academic needs
Flexibility in scheduling and instructional pacing based on the student’s health and stamina
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the student’s family and school staff
Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment outside of the classroom
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all district policies and procedures
