About the Role

We're hiring a Community Liaison — the warm, intelligent first voice every future Cloudland resident hears. Every lead has already watched our videos, read our information packet, and raised their hand asking to learn more. Your job is to call them back quickly, have a real conversation, answer their questions, and book them onto a Design Call with our Head of Design or a two-day on-site Visit.


There is no cold calling. No pressure tactics. No quotas built on hostility. This is relationship work, the kind of role where being genuinely curious about people and the place we're building matters more than any sales script.


What You'll Actually Do

  • Call inbound leads quickly (within minutes during business hours)
  • Have real, unhurried conversations with thoughtful buyers
  • Answer questions about the community, the land, the homes, and the process
  • Qualify fit and timing
  • Book Design Calls and on-site Tours
  • Follow up with patience over weeks and months as buyers move at their own pace
  • Keep clean notes in our CRM so the rest of the team can pick up where you leave off


You're Probably Right for This If:

  • People consistently tell you you're easy to talk to
  • You've worked in hospitality, luxury retail, real estate, or anywhere "the experience" actually mattered
  • You're naturally curious about architecture, design, land, or community
  • You return calls and texts fast and find it frustrating when others don't
  • You're comfortable on the phone for most of your day
  • You can match the energy of an accomplished, thoughtful adult without trying to "close" them


You're Probably Not Right for This If:

  • You think of yourself as a "closer" or a hard-charging sales rep
  • You've never worked a customer-facing role
  • You'd rather email than call
  • You need constant new stimulation and get bored on long follow-up cycles


Compensation

  • Base: $17.50/hour
  • Tour Commission: $50–$145 per tour shown (tiered by monthly volume)
  • Closed Sale Bonus: $850 per closed lot sale you sourced
  • Realistic Year-One OTE: $60,000–$100,000 depending on performance
  • Paid bi-weekly
  • Average performer (18 tours / 2 closes per month): ~$78,500 / year
  • Strong performer (25 tours / 3 closes per month): ~$106,000 / year
  • Top performer (30 tours / 4 closes per month): $129,000 / year


Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, Eastern Time focused. Fully remote.
