What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Team Member position at Bethlehem Lutheran Church?
Summary
The Facilities Team member will partner with the Director of Facilities and staff to provide for the setup and cleaning of the church buildings and grounds. Serve as key facility staff when the Director of Facilities Management is absent.
Essential Functions:
- Communicates and collaborate effectively with supervisor and staff.
- In conjunction with other facility staff, ensure that the facility is locked/open as directed, at the time specified by calendar events.
- Cleaning as prescribed by Director of Facilities.
- Setup of tables, chairs, and other equipment.
- Proficiently operate equipment for cleaning, maintenance and care of facility and grounds.
- Collaborates with Supervisor for minor repairs of equipment, facility needs and furnishings in the absence of the Director of Facilities.
- Ability to focus and prioritize tasks without supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School degree or equivalent
- Reading proficiency
Physical Requirements:
- Sufficient health and stamina to stand, walk and reach with hands, lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and ability to move heavy equipment and furnishings.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
