Are you ready to take control of your earning potential and create your own schedule as an independent contractor and be affiliated with a thriving group practice?
Bethlehem Counseling Associates is currently looking to contract with a licensed mental health therapist. A contract will be established that allows you to identify the volume and clinical populations that you seek to work with. This allows you to have the work/life balance you seek. Due to the overwhelming number of referrals, we currently have both full and part-time office availability. Most clients are looking for the in-person counseling experience, but there is some opportunity to have a hybrid schedule to meet the needs of clients who prefer telehealth.
Bethlehem Counseling Associates is a premier counseling practice of the Lehigh Valley for over 40 years. We offer individual, child/family, couples counseling and medication management to support the mental health of our clients. With about 30 independent contracting therapists, we are able to support the unique interventions a client may be seeking, allowing a clinician to also make referrals to other clinicians as appropriate.
BCA is also different than most private practices due to having a prescriber on staff. BCA's PMHNP can also be of assistance to your clients in managing mental health symptoms. Our prescriber utilizes a "less is more" approach and values the therapy component as a necessary in treatment protocols, not just medication.
Responsibilities
We currently have 11 commercial contracts with insurance providers. You may utilize our amazing administrative staff to help you complete your credentialing, billing, collections, and scheduling. We pride ourselves in being able to support clinicians so that they can focus on providing quality care to their clients. With the support of our administrative team, you could focus on your sessions and note completion. No chasing co-pays and or insurance companies for reimbursement!
Perks of the contract include affiliating yourself with a small company that values diversity, relationships, well-being, work/life balance and supporting community. With BCA, you may choose to take part in monthly lunches, raffles, company sponsored outings at local events, including Phantoms and Iron Pigs games. Contract with BCA today: a group of fun professionals and two cuddly therapy dogs!
This independent contractor position does not provide medical benefits and you will receive a 1099 at year end.
