Job Summary
Bethesda Mission is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to assist the Medical Clinic Manager and volunteer physicians in providing high-quality, patient-centered medical care in a community clinic setting.
This role supports clinic operations on a full-time OR part-time/PRN basis and is an essential part of delivering holistic healthcare services. Experience in community health, outpatient care, or clinic nursing is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver nursing care that is safe, effective, equitable, timely, and patient-centered.
Assist physicians with clinical care, patient assessments, triage, and treatment coordination.
Facilitate case coordination, patient education, and information sharing to support improved health outcomes.
Connect patients with primary care providers and community healthcare resources.
Collaborate with shelter staff and clinic team members to ensure continuity of care for Bethesda patients.
Manage patient flow during clinic hours and support efficient clinic operations.
Open and close the clinic, preparing and securing medical records, equipment, and supplies.
Maintain accurate and organized patient records and clinical documentation.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, volunteers, and staff.
Provide coverage on a rotating day and evening schedule.
Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations and patient care.
