Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
- You will have a passion for working with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, and possess the skills necessary to support their development and well-being.
- We prefer experienced providers ( which means having worked in a licensed childcare facility); however, we will train if you have not.
- You must be over the age of 18 and a high school graduate or have a GED.
- You must be able to pass a SLED background check.
- You must love Jesus and, more importantly, love children.
- In your first thirty days, you will need to complete your 15 hours DSS accredited hours. They are online and each year you will need to complete these hours (at no cost to you).
- The schedule will vary; therefore, you must be willing to work assigned hours.

Duties
- Supervise and engage with children safely and positively.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Manage behavior in a constructive way, promoting positive interactions among children.
- Assist in the development of early childhood education curriculum as needed.
- Keep records of children's daily activities, milestones, and any incidents that occur.
Requirements
- First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification is required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with teaching methods suitable for different age groups (infants through toddlers).
- Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children are essential traits. We encourage individuals who are passionate about childcare and committed to fostering a supportive environment for children's growth to apply.
