LEAD HOUSEKEEPER
Job Summary: The Lead Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring a clean environment and positive impression for the Bethesda StoneRidge community. This position directs and coaches the homemaker team and is responsible for daily cleaning duties in both the common aeras as well as resident rooms. This position is also responsible for housekeeping processes, and ensuring appropriate supplies is available.
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday during business hours. Flexibility to provide support on the weekend as needed.
A. Experience: Previous healthcare or housekeeping experience desirable.
Physical Demands of the Job:
1. Continuous walking and standing
2. Frequent twisting, bend/stoop and squatting
3. Climbing (3-6 feet), kneeling and reaching above shoulder level
4. Carry weight of 25 pounds occasionally
5. Pushing/pulling movements frequently
6. Must be aware of chemicals used for cleaning
Mental Demands of the Job: Requires self-direction to comply with necessary job requirements.
Tasks:
1. Follow cleaning schedule as outlined for housekeeping.
2. Clean and disinfect residential apartments.
3. Dust surfaces.
4. Clean window casings.
5. Wipe down light fixtures on walls.
6. Wipe down surfaces.
7. Wash mirrors.
8. Empty garbage.
9. Sweep floor.
10. Mop floor.
11. Clean vents.
12. Clean sinks and toilets.
13. Vacuum.
Salary : $18 - $20
