Key Responsibilities:
- Cook meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Assist in creating menus that meet residents' nutritional needs and accommodate food preferences.
- Present meals that are pleasing to the eye and palate.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including setting up equipment and prepping for each day's menu.
- Clean dishes, floors, walls, and kitchen equipment, adhering to sanitary guidelines.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Culinary training preferred.
- Appropriate health certification as required by local state and federal health departments.
- Able to lift and carry a minimum of 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to read and follow directions and recipes.
