Responsibilities
Your Daily Life at Bethesda Game Studios
As Live Producer, you will…
- Partner across teams from early development through long-term support, building the systems, standards, and processes that ensure live readiness.
- Manage the health, stability, and quality of live and pre-live game environments across all titles and release types.
- Serve as an on-call resource for a 24/7 live service, supporting operational needs beyond standard working hours across releases, incidents, readiness activities, and other critical periods.
- Triage issues across internal development and live service environments, coordinating with relevant teams to assess risk, drive resolution, and manage player impact.
- Manage the scheduling, testing, deployment, and communication of game updates and hotfixes, partnering with Release Management and technical teams to triage and resolve issues.
- Regularly play the games you support, identifying experiential issues such as flow breaks, stability degradation, or performance problems that technical checklists and metrics miss.
- Communicate product health, readiness, risks, and recommendations clearly to internal leadership, enabling informed decisions early. Inform initiative prioritization by clearly framing tradeoffs across player impact, operational risk, and development capacity.
- Coordinate technical initiatives across internal, cross-org, and contractor teams, ensuring quality and operational alignment as tools, pipelines, and needs evolve.
- Support contractor integration by serving as the central point of contact for onboarding and escalation, connecting contractors to the right people when blockers arise.
- Drive predictability and continuous improvement by applying lessons learned from releases and live incidents, supported by release reporting, metrics, retrospectives, and operational insights.
- Take on adjacent responsibilities as needed to support reliable releases as products, partners, tools, and operational needs evolve.
What Makes You S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
- You have 3 years of end‑to‑end, hands‑on AAA live service and production ownership across online titles, including multi‑product operations, readiness planning, dependency management, and multi-title release coordination.

- You excel at leveraging automation solutions and tools to streamline workflows and minimize manual effort.
- You have a demonstrated ability to plan, track, and deliver on complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives.
- You have working knowledge of cloud technologies and online game infrastructure.
- You communicate clearly with internal stakeholders, with exceptional attention to detail. You adapt effectively in dynamic, ambiguous environments with competing priorities.
- You spot risks early and drive solutions that protect quality and multi-title delivery.
- You are experienced with agile development practices.
Bonus Skills
- You have experience in multiple game disciplines (design, engineering, art, or QA).
- You are experienced with first-party platform tools and services (Sony DevNet, Microsoft Partner Center, Steamworks).
- You have strong familiarity with BGS games.
