The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for providing preventative care, injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to student-athletes. This role is vital in promoting player health, safety, and peak performance.
âš¾ Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site coverage for practices, games, and pos season tournaments.
- Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries.
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and injury reports.
- Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and parents regarding athlete health.
- Educate athletes on proper conditioning, nutrition, and recovery techniques.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and state athletic training standards.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or Master’s.
- Current certification by the Board of Certification (BOC).
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Maryland.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
