Leadership Staff
Description: These staff members have responsibility for leading and facilitating the various summer programs Bethelwoods has to offer. This includes; Day Camp, Residential Camp. Daily responsibilities include communicating with Day Camp parents, supporting Counseling staff and campers, planning new activities, communicating any needs with the Program Director and assisting with
Staff Training. Leadership Staff members may rotate throughout the summer dependent upon their specific capabilities and the week to week needs of Bethelwoods Summer Camp programs.
Counselor
Counselors' primary responsibilities include supervising children and youth (K5-12th grade) in a cabin setting. Counselors lead Bible studies, recreation, activities, and worship. They will rotate between resident camp, day camp, and camp-in-a-van programming.
Lifeguards
Lifeguards will be responsible for regular pool maintenance, including daily safety and cleanliness checks of the pool. Lifeguards serve both campers and hosted groups at camp. When not assigned pool and lifeguard related duties, this staff member will serve as support staff, performing additional tasks as needed for summer camp ministry.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Experience:
- Childcare or camp: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
