Job Summary:
As a scene shop assistant you will be working under the supervision of the Theatre Department Technical Director and the Scene Shop foreman.
Essential Job Functions:
You will be trained in the use of power tools and expected to master the use of these tools. The scene shop manufactures all of the scenic elements for the Theatre Department productions.
Qualifications:
No experience needed.
Job Expectations:
The Scene Shop is open from 1:00pm – 5:00pm Monday through Friday. It occasionally is open on Saturday’s dependent on needs of a production. Shop is open according to the academic calendar; if there are classes meeting then scene shop is open.
