Duties

- Manage classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and a safe learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns to build strong partnerships.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to organize materials, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth daily routines.
- Incorporate special education principles and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing standards to monitor developmental progress and inform instruction.
- Follow mandated reporting laws diligently to ensure child safety and welfare at all times.
- Engage in ongoing lesson planning that integrates Montessori methods or other educational frameworks to enhance learning experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or toddler care environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management, classroom management, and child welfare practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and standardized testing procedures.
- Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within the educational community.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety during all activities.
- Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child abuse prevention is essential.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori techniques or other early childhood education methodologies.
