What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Afternoon Teacher position at Bethel Lutheran Preschool?
Afternoon childcare for private, religious preschool. Candidate must be reliable, creative, energetic but calm, compassionate and mature. Care is for children aged 2-4 so light lifting, getting up and down from floor, playing on the playground and free play. Must be able to change diapers and assist with restroom when needed. Light housekeeping such as cleaning tables, sweeping, taking out trash and cleaning the toilet. Hours are 12:00-5:30 Monday - Friday. Some additional hours are available during breaks and to fill in. We offer assistance with continuing education, advancement opportunities from within. Full time employment (30 hours per week) has health, dental and vision insurance as well as a retirement plan and short term disability plan.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
