Child Care Provider

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will support childhood development through attentive caregiving, educational activities, and positive behavior management. Duties

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, social skills, and creativity.
• Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to safety protocols, conducting regular environment checks, and maintaining a clean and hazard-free space.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns.
• Support children's developmental milestones through tailored caregiving strategies and classroom experiences.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
• Maintain detailed records of children's activities, health incidents, and developmental progress in compliance with licensing standards.
• Complete Online courses in childcare.

Qualifications

• DSS certified in the state of SC is highly preferred.
• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively and effectively while fostering a nurturing environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, colleagues, and community resources.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm.
