What are the responsibilities and job description for the ICD-10 Coder position at Bethany-st Joseph Corp?
We are now hiring for a full-time ICD-10 coder. This is a hybrid position, working both remotely and on-sight.
This position will maintain a resident information system to attain institutional goals and comply with all State and Federal requirements. This system includes all records, indexes, and reports that relate to the professional care of the residents. Primary responsibilities including medical coding of resident information for multiple nursing homes; with occasional days on-sight at each location.
Experience and Education
- Medical Coding, Medical Administrative Professional or Health Information degree from an accredited college or technical school.
- Two years’ experience in the medical records field preferred
- Experience working with ICD-9-CM coding required.
