A valid, non probationary driver's license may be required for this position. All driving would occur in a company vehicle. Additional $0.50 per hour for driving shifts.
This position works every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Shift Availability:
- Full Time - Day Shift
- Part Time - Day/PM Shift combo
Job Responsibilities: Dietary Aides are responsible for preparing beverages, cleaning and washing dishes, assisting with the serving of meals, and providing customer service to our residents, while following food safety requirements.
- Responsible for keeping foods safe, using time and temperature control for safety guidelines.
- Follows resident’s diet orders and preferences when serving meals.
- Cleans and sanitizes food contact surfaces and work area routinely, ensuring the highest degree of sanitation.
- Washes and sanitizes dishes, tableware, glasses, and other kitchen and dining room equipment/surfaces and ensures they are stored in a sanitary and orderly fashion.
- May serve meals in the dining room or to resident rooms or at Assisted Living Facility.
- Cooking may also be required
- Prepare foods that are safe, appealing and nutritious.
- Serve meals in an accurate, timely way. Ensure that the information on each resident's meal card is followed.
- Follow therapeutic menus and standardized recipes.
- Forecast and monitor production.
- Perform the duties on the task list and any other food service tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Apply high standards of sanitation to all tasks, including food preparation, food storage, and cleanup.
- Work safely, following facility and department policies on safety and hygiene.
