Admissions and Marketing Director
Bethany is looking to hire an Admissions Director. Bethany is a 5 star facility that has a 59 bed long term care unit, 27 skilled rehab unit, and 29 assisted living apartments.
The Admissions Director is responsible for timely and accurate responses to referrals to bring patients into the building. The director needs to ensure that all residents that are accepted are appropriately placed within the facility and staff is appropriately prepared to care for the admission.
- Assess referrals through electronic referral systems, as well as phone and faxed referrals to determine appropriateness of admission for skilled, long term care, and assisted living.
- Visit referrals in hospital and the greater community to market Bethany and gauge appropriateness of referrals for various care levels.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure effective review of medical records and care needs of referrals.
- Market all levels of care to the hospital systems and the greater Stark County community.
- Work with the Administrator to ensure adequate census levels in all levels of care.
- Work with the Administrator to ensure maximum access to Managed Care Plans and Medicare Advantage Plans.
- Communicate and manage relationships with residents and families when transitioning levels of care.
· Serves as daily contact with patients, families, medical personnel, and other potential referral sources.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required from an accredited college or university in marketing, business or related field preferred.
- 5 years successful marketing experience in the health field preferably in long-term care and/or subacute rehab highly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
