Position Overview:
The Assistant Director of Recruiting will lead key provider recruitment efforts by sourcing, screening, and onboarding high-quality clinical candidates. The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare recruiting experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting aggressive hiring goals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Bethany Medical is the largest independent, established multi-specialty group in Central North Carolina, serving the Triad and surrounding communities for over 38 years. Bethany Medical is open 7 days a week, with 13 convenient locations and 16 practices in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Kernersville, Jamestown, North Wilkesboro, and Mt Airy, North Carolina. We have grown to provide the facilities, staff, and support to offer urgent care, primary care, diagnostic testing, outpatient ancillary and specialty care services onsite. Bethany Medical is staffed with board-certified physicians and providers representing 15 medical specialties. Practice staff members are known for treating each patient with prompt, personalized care and attention. Bethany Medical employs over 60 providers and 550 employees.

The Triad area encompasses Greensboro (the third-largest city in NC), Winston-Salem, High Point, and the surrounding region. The Triad is centrally located in NC with a population of 1.9 million. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, source, and successfully place Physicians, NPs, and PAs across multiple Bethany Medical locations
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, outbound outreach, networking, and strategic sourcing
- Conduct initial phone screens, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate communication throughout all stages of the hiring process
- Work closely with organizational leadership to understand staffing needs and recruitment priorities
- Track and report weekly on recruitment metrics, candidate pipeline activity, and hiring progress
- Ensure a positive candidate experience and maintain strong professional relationships
- Assist with onboarding and initial orientation for new provider hires
- Minimum of 5 years of experience recruiting Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding recruitment goals
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Experience working with ATS systems, job boards, and sourcing platforms
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative leadership team
