What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator position at Bethany Home Association Of Lindsbo?
SUMMARY:
Under direction of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, creates and maintains nursing schedule, insuring schedule coverage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares and posts monthly nursing schedule.
- Maintains the schedule on a daily basis to keep staff coverage consistent.
- Communicates with Human Resource manager regarding need to hire additional nursing staff.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationship with management staff, employees, residents, and general public.
- Operates a variety of office machines and equipment to accomplish job tasks. Equipment may include telephone, personal computer, typewriter, copier, or facsimile machine.
- Follows all facility safety and infection control procedures.
- Attend in-service and staff meeting as required.
- Performs other related assigned duties.
