Job Summary
Hours- 7:30- 12:30.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to support classroom activities and assist in the educational development of students. Ages range from 2 years of age -4 years of age. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children. This role is essential in creating a positive learning environment, fostering student engagement, and supporting teachers in delivering effective lessons.
Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activitiws
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Provide individualized support to students, when needed.
- Participate in curriculum development and lesson planning as needed
- Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and transitions
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Experience in behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
