Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mount Vernon, WA. The Director/Pastor of Youth will lead and oversee youth programming. This role includes teaching Bible studies, encouraging discipleship, and engaging with youth and families to strengthen their faith. The individual will also collaborate with church staff and volunteers to develop meaningful worship experiences that align with the church’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Bible Study and teaching
- Ability to provide support and counseling to youth and families
- Commitment to discipleship and spiritual growth in youth and community
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse groups
- Experience working in youth ministry and engaging with younger generations in a church setting is a plus
- A Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Ministry, Religious Studies, or a related field; advanced theological education is a plus
