Job Overview
The Bethany North Production Associate oversees all technical production elements that support the worship experience, church-wide events, and online platforms. This role leads the audio, video, lighting, slides, and Livestream volunteer teams to create engaging environments that support the ministry and vision of Bethany. The Production Associate combines technical excellence with leadership skills to equip teams, develop systems, and ensure seamless execution every week.
Duties
- Oversee the technical execution of all worship services (in-person and online)
- Lead and support the production team during rehearsals and services.
- Own all aspects of preparation for Sunday production, including resetting the stage, building the Propresenter show, and ensuring that all devices and equipment are ready for use.
- Collaborate with pastors, communications teams, and worship directors to create vision centered worship experiences and content.
- Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteers across production roles.
- Manage equipment inventory, lifecycle planning, and replacement schedules.
- Provide production support for church wide events, special services, and youth services.
- Participate as a member of Bethany North staff and perform other duties as the situation requires or as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience
- Demonstrates the virtues and qualities of a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Humble, teachable, and servant-hearted leadership.
- Strong proficiency in audio engineering, live video production, stage lighting design, console operation, and broadcast systems. 2 - 3 years of relatable experience.
- Experience using Planning Center Online and ProPresenter.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and shepherd diverse volunteer teams.
- Ability to lead calmly under pressure and troubleshoot rapidly during live events.
- A loyal team player who is committed to the mission, values, and vision of Bethany Community Church.
- Participate as a member of the Bethany North and Bethany Community Church Staff, and perform other duties as the situation arises/assigned by supervisor
Other Specifications
- Work Schedule: Typical work schedule is Sunday - Thursday, 20 hours per week. Physical Demands: Must be able to work in both a mobile and an office environment. Must be able to lift boxes and/or equipment up to 50lbs.
- Working Conditions Due to seasonal activity, job duties may often require hours and availability outside normal working hours. May require flexibility to adjust work schedules from time to time to work early or later than the regular schedule.
- The office environment is fast-paced and may be considered stressful, due to seemingly regular interruptions because of numerous urgent and unexpected requests that require multitasking.

- Compensation: $25-29 /per hour - depending on experience
