Job Purpose:
Occupational Therapists are responsible for organizing and conducting occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation of children with special needs. Directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance and facilitates the learning of those skills essential for function adaptation, self-care and productivity, under the supervision of their therapy lead, outpatient therapy director, and VP of Rehab/Education.

Upon provider referral, performs patient evaluation and develops specific individualized treatment plan including long and short term goals that are measurable and objective. |

Qualifications:

Education: |
Graduate of accredited School of Occupational Therapy. Ability to speak, understand, read and write English required. |

Experience: |
Pediatric experience preferred |

License/Certification/Credential: |
Occupational Therapist License from State of Oklahoma or proven eligibility for licensing within 3-6 months of employment with temporary license. |
