Bethany Athletic Club, a premier athletic club in Portland’s west side seeks a GroupX Admin to join the Group Exercise team! The successful candidate will
Current Class Openings:
- Body Pump
- Body Combat
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop positive relationships with members by teaching a challenging, yet entertaining class
- Promote BAC promotions, programs, products, and services to class participants
- Motivate members to continue to consistently attend Group Fitness classes
- Attend group fitness departmental meetings
- Accurately record class attendance after each class
Qualifications:
- 1 years teaching experience
- Related professional certification (ACSM, ACE, AFAA, or similar)
- Prior experience as a group exercise instructor
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- A comprehensive understanding of the fitness industry
Language Requirement
All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
