What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Personal Trainer position at BETHANY ATHLETIC CLUB LLC?
Bethany Athletic Club, a premier athletic club in Portland’s west side seeks a Personal Trainer to join the Fitness team! The successful candidate will ensure our members receive the highest level of fitness expertise and professional care.
Schedule: Weekdays Weekends as necessary
Shift: AM and/or PM
Pay: Commission
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate own schedule based on client needs
- Perform Fitness Assessments
- Design and administer exercise programs that fit members goals, health history, and fitness level.
- Develop and implement small group personal training classes.
Qualifications
- A nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA preferred)
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
- Experience in a health club or private fitness facility preferred
- Experience in training sales and client retention a plus
- Flexible availability
Language Requirement
All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
