Job Title: CTSS Therapist (Clinical Transition and Stabilization Services)
Location: Reed Street Office, Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $50,000 per year with $3k sign-on bonus
Travel: Required (schools, homes, and community sites); mileage reimbursed at $0.65 per mile
Position Summary
The Clinical Transition and Stabilization Services (CTSS) Therapist supports emotionally and behaviorally challenged youth as they transition into and maintain stability within therapeutic foster homes. This role is part of an innovative clinical support program, delivering therapy grounded in generally accepted clinical theories and evidence-based techniques. The CTSS Therapist works collaboratively with families, foster parents, schools, and child-serving systems to promote positive outcomes for youth.
Qualifications:Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, treatment, and case management services to children and adolescents
- Deliver individual and family-based therapeutic interventions within foster homes, schools, and community settings
- Support youth and foster families during transitions to promote stability and placement success
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external systems (mental health, child welfare, education)
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and reports
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats
Required Education & Experience
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited program in a clinical mental health discipline
- Must include a clinical practicum with children/adolescents
- Minimum of one (1) year post-Master’s experience providing assessment, treatment, and case management services to children within mental health and child welfare systems
- Experience with family systems and behavioral interventions
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to navigate multiple service systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Act 33 and Act 34 clearances
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist)
- Training and/or experience in play therapy
