Job Title: Mobile Crisis Worker – Children’s Mobile Crisis Team Services (CMCTS)
Position Overview
The Children’s Mobile Crisis Team Services (CMCTS) Mobile Crisis Worker provides critical support to children, youth, and families receiving crisis services. This role involves participating in clinical assessments, delivering crisis intervention services both in-person and by phone, and coordinating care with behavioral health and crisis service providers. The Mobile Crisis Worker works closely with CRC staff to ensure timely referrals and clinically appropriate interventions. This position is supervised by the Clinical Supervisor.
Schedule: 11 am to 7 pm schedule Sat/Sunday per diem schedule
Weekend Stipend for Standby (Saturday & Sunday; 7 am to 11 am and 7 pm to 11 pm): $131.25
- Single Day Stipend for Standby (Saturday or Sunday; 7 am to 11 am and 7 pm to 11 pm): $65.63
- Hourly Rate for Mobile Crisis Worker: $28.25 (clock in/clock out during crisis occurrences)
Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the assessment process for children, youth, and families in crisis
- Provide crisis intervention services in person and via phone as needed
- Assist in developing and completing Crisis Stabilization Plans
- Coordinate care with crisis response teams and behavioral health service providers
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments and determine the need for CRC intervention
- Communicate with CRC staff and make referrals for appropriate clinical services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major coursework in one of the following or a related field:
- Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Anthropology, Political Science, History, Criminal Justice, Theology, Nursing, Counseling, or Education
- Preferred: At least two (2) years of experience providing behavioral interventions and case management to children and youth in a mental health and/or child welfare setting
- Preferred training or experience in:
- Crisis de-escalation and management
- Trauma-informed care
- Crisis stabilization and de-escalation techniques
