Key Responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher in implementing daily lessons, activities, and routines.
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
- Assist children with social, emotional, and self-help skills throughout the day.
- Prepare materials, set up learning centers, and help with classroom organization.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals/snacks, and rest time.
- Communicate positively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events as needed.
- Experience working with young children in a school, daycare, or camp setting preferred.
- Warm, patient, and collaborative disposition.
- Ability to follow directions, take initiative, and support classroom management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma required; coursework or credentials in early childhood education a plus.
