Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and support diverse learning styles.
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote literacy, numeracy, physical development, and social skills through engaging lessons and play-based learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies to create a safe and respectful environment for all children.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and foster strong home-school connections.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality instruction and classroom management.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications.
- Support children with special educational needs through tailored interventions such as early intervention strategies and individualized instruction plans.
Skills

- Demonstrated skills in lesson planning, child welfare practices, and implementing inclusive teaching methods.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws; experience working with children with diverse needs is highly desirable.
