Role Description The Surgical Scheduler is a full-time, on-site role based in Plymouth, MA. This role is responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required patient and procedure information. Day-to-day tasks include obtaining and verifying necessary authorizations, confirming insurance details, and coordinating surgery dates and times with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and operating room staff. Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately schedule procedures and communicate with clinical staff.
- Understanding of Medicine and orthopedic surgical procedures sufficient to manage scheduling details and preoperative requirements.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with patients, clinicians, and administrative colleagues.
