Manager of Information Technology
Location: Greenfield, MA
Reports to: Director of Digital Transformation
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000

BETE is seeking an IT Manager to lead the technology that keeps our manufacturing operations and office teams running. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys solving daily challenges, developing an IT team, and improving how people use technology across the business.
As BETE’s senior on-site technology leader, you will work with employees across the plant and office while partnering with the Director of Digital Transformation on broader technology priorities.
What you’ll do
- Lead day-to-day IT support, infrastructure, business systems, and technology projects.
- Support our ERP system and work with teams to improve workflows in production, inventory, purchasing, finance, and customer service.
- Maintain reliable, secure networks, devices, cloud services, and shop-floor technology.
- Strengthen cybersecurity, backups, disaster recovery, and system documentation.
- Coach IT staff, coordinate vendors, and help employees make effective use of company systems.
What you’ll bring
- Five or more years of progressively responsible IT experience, ideally in manufacturing or a similar operating environment.
- Experience leading people, projects, vendors, or outside IT providers.
- ERP and business application experience; NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and user support.
- Clear communication, practical judgment, and the ability to balance urgent support needs with longer-term improvements.
A related degree is preferred, and an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. This role requires regular on-site presence in both office and manufacturing areas, with occasional support outside normal business hours.
