Job Title: Accounting Manager
About the Company:
Beta Max, Inc. is a manufacturer of high-speed hoists designed to lift people and materials utilizing several different platforms. Based in Florida’s Space Coast, the company has been providing quality hoisting solutions to customers throughout North America for over 40 years.
Position Overview:
Accounting Manager for a manufacturer and distributor of construction equipment. This position interfaces with company management, sales, inventory and distribution. Must be familiar with cost accounting concepts and have prior experience in the manufacturing or distribution environment. This is a hands-on position which requires a person with prior proficiency in a similar or related industry. This person will be directly involved in the following areas:
· Bank Reconciliation
· AP and PO matching
· AR, Customer Invoicing and Collection
· Paylocity payroll processing
· Reconcile General Ledger Accounts
· Reconcile credit card accounts
· Prepare monthly GL Entries
· Expense tracking and payment
· Monthly GL Module closings and AJE posting
· Support the accounting team with general bookkeeping tasks
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years of manufacturing bookkeeping experience a must
· General understanding of GAAP accounting principles
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
· Experience with MRP / ERP or accounting software a must
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation:
$40,000 - $60,000 / Year
