Role Description
BETA Land Services is seeking Title Agents with experience in Texas to support active and upcoming projects.
This is a remote contract-based role focused on targeted title research within defined parameters. Title Agents will be responsible for identifying and reviewing specific documents relevant to project needs, often within shorter timeframes than full abstracting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting surface and/or mineral title research based on defined scopes
- Reviewing public records, including deeds, leases, easements, rights-of-way, liens, probates, and related documents
- Identifying key ownership and title information required for project execution
- Preparing clear and accurate reports for internal teams and clients
- Supporting leasing and right-of-way teams with timely and relevant title data
- Accessing courthouse and/or online records
Qualifications
- Experience performing title research in Texas
- Familiarity with county-level public records systems (both online and courthouse)
- Ability to work within defined research parameters and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general research tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) Certified
