Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to mow, trim, edge, and fertilize lawns and landscaped areas efficiently and safely
- Apply pest control treatments and fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth while adhering to safety protocols
- Use driving skills to navigate between job sites in company vehicles or equipment trailers
- Assist with planting, watering, aerating, and other lawn care tasks to maintain optimal turf health
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met
- Support landscaping projects by installing new plants, mulch beds, or irrigation systems as needed
- Follow safety procedures consistently when handling chemicals or operating machinery to prevent accidents
Experience
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture is highly desirable
- Familiarity with pest control methods and applications is a plus
- Hands-on experience with land management or outdoor maintenance projects will set you apart
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other landscaping equipment effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between sites
- Knowledge of sales techniques related to outdoor services or products is beneficial but not required
