Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks using appropriate heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inventory counts and ensuring proper documentation.
- Handle materials with precision during storage, retrieval, and transportation to prevent damage or safety hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by stacking pallets properly and managing warehouse space effectively.
- Support warehouse management system updates to track inventory movements and ensure data accuracy.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse distribution environment is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment handling.
- Experience with order picking using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is advantageous.
Pay: $18.50 - $18.75 per hour
