Certified Medication Aide

The Certified Medication Aide role involves assisting nurses and other medical professionals with various tasks, such as administering medications, monitoring patients, and providing basic care. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. As a certified aide, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing patient charts, and coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering medications as prescribed by physicians
• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating charts as necessary
• Providing basic care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
• Assisting nurses with procedures, such as wound care and injections

Requirements:

• Certification as a Medication Aide (CMA) or equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in high-stress situations
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)

Salary : $31,500 - $35,000
