Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg / Acute Care / OBS Unit – Day Shift
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
Unit: Med-Surg Acute Care / OBS
Shift: 12-hour day shifts, including weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care to adults in a Med-Surg/Acute Care/OBS setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and promote positive patient outcomes.
- Utilize specialized knowledge for the management of complex disease states, including post-surgical and acute/chronic conditions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech electronic health records.
- Participate in the unit call rotation as required.
- 12-hour day shifts, including weekend rotation.
- Must agree to participate in the call rotation, taking 1 call shift per 2-week period (following VV’s pay schedule) in place of guaranteed hours, if requested due to staffing needs.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or a similar setting required.
- Current RN license to practice in Colorado.
- Current BLS certification (AHA).
- Current ACLS certification (AHA).
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions).
- Proficiency with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems.
