We're Hiring: Adult Outpatient Therapist | Southgate, Michigan | Full-Time | Permanent Position

Location - Southgate, Michigan

Employment Type - Full-time, permanent

Competitive Pay:

• Full license: $29.47–$39.67 per hour
• Limited license: $27.22–$36.63 per hour

Pay depends on licensure and experience.

Schedule - 37.5 hours per week, primarily daytime hours. Some evening and weekend availability is required. Flexible scheduling may be available.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake evaluations and assess adults seeking outpatient mental health or co-occurring substance-use services.
• Provide individual and group therapy to adults and families.
• Develop person-centered treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs and goals.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, family members, and other support professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and complete documentation on time.
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
• Coordinate discharge planning and support continuity of care.
• Follow professional ethical standards and applicable licensing requirements.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
• Appropriate Michigan licensure: LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC, or LLP.
• At least one year of experience working with or treating individuals diagnosed with mental illness. Fieldwork and internship experience may count.
• Ability to work independently and maintain effective therapeutic relationships.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Cultural competency and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Willingness to obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire.
