Position Description

The Employee Entrance Greeter is responsible for welcoming employees, monitoring the employee entrance, and assisting with deliveries received through the designated entrance. This position helps maintain a safe, orderly, and professional entry process by following established access control, delivery, and security procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet employees professionally and courteously as they arrive for work.

• Monitor the employee entrance and help ensure access is limited to authorized personnel.

• Verify employee identification, badges, or credentials in accordance with established procedures.

• Receive and direct deliveries to the appropriate department or designated receiving area.

• Verify delivery information, notify the appropriate department of incoming deliveries, and maintain delivery records as required.

• Ensure delivery personnel follow established entrance and security procedures.

• Observe and report suspicious activity, security concerns, unauthorized access attempts, or policy violations to the appropriate supervisor or security personnel.

• Assist employees and delivery personnel with basic questions and direct them to the appropriate contact when needed.

• Maintain awareness of activity around the entrance and ensure the area remains safe, organized, and unobstructed.

• Follow all company policies, security protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and courteous demeanor at all times.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, vendors, and delivery personnel.

• Ability to organize and document deliveries accurately, as required.

• Ability to remain calm and professional when addressing questions or concerns.

• Previous customer service, receiving, security, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions

This position is performed in an indoor card room environment and requires regular interaction with employees, vendors, delivery personnel, and supervisors. Duties may require extended periods of standing and working a scheduled shift that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position may also involve occasional handling or movement of deliveries, depending on operational needs.

• Moderate physical effort (standing, walking, lifting 20lbs , bending, sitting)

• Must have 20/20 vision or corrected vision
• Must be able to fill out minor paperwork
• Must be reliable

Operations are 7 days a week. Monday-Thursday 0930-0430 and Friday opening at 0930 with a 24-hour operating schedule until 0430 Monday morning. Current available shifts:

Sunday: 6:30p-4a

Tuesday: 6:30p-4a

Friday: 6:30p-4a

Saturday: 6:30p-4a
