Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely while adhering to proper handling techniques.
• Maintain floor care routines such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and outdoor work when necessary to preserve flooring quality.
• Use cleaning equipment effectively for tasks like floor cleaning, surface sanitation, and outdoor maintenance.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and ensure their satisfaction with housekeeping services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and safety protocols related to manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple homes or areas.
• Excellent customer service abilities with clear communication skills for client interaction.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas when required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
