What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Best Western Troy Inn?
Hotel maintenance worker should be well-rounded helper who offers preventative maintenance and repairs to all areas of the hotel, including its exterior, heating and cooling systems (PTAC Units), plumbing, electrical systems, floors, walls and furniture , able to climb ladder to replace batteries in CO/SMOKE Detectors or rewire and hang new CO/SMOKE Detectors, touch-up paint, caulking tubs and toilets, etc.
As a hotel maintenance supervisor, your job duties are to inspect and repair various energy systems, such as the heating and cooling systems (PTAC UNITS), plumbing, lighting, and kitchen equipment. Repair floors and doors (hinges and knobs), water leaks and installing new products; such as, windows (screens), carpets, televisions, microwaves and mini-refrigerators and bathroom light fixtures. Maintain repairs in bathroom tubs, toilets and sinks throughout the hotel.
In addition: fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Tasks include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs and heating and air conditioning system maintenance.
Work Orders are created and need to be completed in a timely fashion as to not disturb the hotel's reservation obligations to the guests.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
