Breakfast Attendant/Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant / Housekeeper to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and ensuring cleanliness throughout both the dining and guest room areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong customer service skills, and a solid understanding of cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Breakfast Attendant Duties:

• Prepare and present breakfast items according to established recipes and standards.
• Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet or service area with fresh food items.
• Ensure all food is stored properly and kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting with their needs.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Follow food safety regulations to ensure a safe dining experience.
• Work with team members to ensure timely service and quality presentation.

Housekeeping Duties:

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, and restock room amenities.
• Ensure all rooms are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for guest arrival.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow proper use of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, storage areas, and laundry spaces.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed.
• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of food safety and cleaning standards is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• A strong work ethic and passion for creating a clean, welcoming environment for guests.
