Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards
- Handle all laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing
- Operate laundry equipment safely and maintain proper inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
- Assist with dry cleaning services when required, ensuring delicate garments are handled with care and professionalism
- Maintain public areas by cleaning lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces to ensure they are tidy and welcoming
- Follow established safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or damage
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry services is preferred; hotel experience is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of laundry processes, including washing, drying, dry cleaning techniques, and proper handling of linens and garments
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
