Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to uphold safety, functionality, and aesthetic standards across the property. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, experience in facilities maintenance, and excellent customer service abilities to support our guests and staff effectively.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters
- Perform welding, residential painting, and other maintenance person tasks to maintain property appearance and safety standards
- Operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work orders, inventory management, and documentation
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards
- Manage electrical repairs and mechanical system upgrades with knowledge of schematics and mechanical knowledge
- Lead or assist in supervising maintenance staff or interns when applicable
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes during all maintenance activities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns related to hotel facilities promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities or hotel maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work
- Knowledge of Schematics, CMMS systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), welding techniques, and residential painting
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments or similar industries is a plus
- Strong leadership or supervising experience preferred for team coordination roles
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective reporting and guest interactions
- Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively
- Prior experience in customer service within a hospitality or service-oriented environment is advantageous
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team to prioritize tasks effectively
