What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant position at Best Western Plus Prairie Inn?
Rise and Shine! We are looking for a cheerful morning person who loves to make our guests smile! As a Hotel Breakfast Attendant, you will work early until mid- morning to welcome guests into our breakfast buffet, prepare and stock food, and keep the kitchen and buffet area clean and presentable.
In this role, you will help create a fantastic guest experience by genuinely and proactively engaging guests in conversation. You will help maintain breakfast inventory, and help plan & prepare evening reception/snack. You will keep guests safe with proper food handling and by protecting against slips & falls. You will make sure that guests are comfortable and enjoying not only their breakfast but the entire hotel experience.
What you bring
If you are ready to be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in food service, with general knowledge of food preparation & presentation (preferred)
- Friendly attitude & professional communication skills
- Have or be willing to get a food handlers card (if you do not currently have one, we will help you get it and will pay for it)
- You must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to work on the weekends. Scheduled days are TBD, 5:30am-11:30am.
