We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and structural elements to identify issues proactively.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks using skills in welding, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical work to resolve problems swiftly.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose system faults.
- Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment to assess electrical components’ health.
- Manage facilities maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance history.
- Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors during repair projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Oversee residential painting projects or minor renovation tasks to maintain aesthetic standards throughout the property.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems in building management when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility standards while maintaining a high level of customer service for internal stakeholders.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting diverse systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals essential for accurate repairs.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems.
