Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality
- Ensure all guest amenities are replenished and organized to meet quality standards
- Follow established protocols for janitorial and industrial cleaning tasks using specialized equipment and cleaning agents
- Assist in managing housekeeping supplies inventory and report needs for restocking
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to promote a healthy environment for guests and staff
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards efficiently and promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services—hotel experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively in both industrial and residential settings
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning teams is a plus
