Hospitality Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
• Conduct floor care activities including stripping, waxing, polishing, and buffing to keep all flooring looking pristine.
• Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.
• Follow established safety procedures during cleaning processes and handle cleaning equipment responsibly.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality and cleanliness.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.

Experience

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred. We will train the right person.
• Proven skills in cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning methods for large-scale facilities.
• Knowledge of floor care procedures such as stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors.
• Experience working in hospitality environments where customer service excellence is essential.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies to perform duties safely and effectively.
• Background in housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
