Maintenance Technician
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with Best Western schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Fabricate or repair parts as needed using various tools and equipment.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of other maintenance staff when necessary.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report to general manager.
- Be a team player and work well with others.

Skills:
- Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Professional training is preferred in at least one of these areas.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to adhere to them at all times.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and management.
